Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The zebrafish chip Fluidic 1371, featuring Mini Luer interfaces, is capable of capturing individual zebrafish eggs at predefined monitoring positions. The catcher structures are arranged along a long, meandering channel. Once caught, the eggs will block the outlet of each catcher structure, and the resulting suction effect will keep them in place. Under constant perfusion, the development of zebrafish can then be observed. The design of this chip is based on the publication by J. Akagi et al. PLoS One (2012) [https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0036630].
This chip enables controlled observation of zebrafish egg development in a streamlined and efficient setup. With transparent material and a single channel layout, it provides direct visibility for real-time monitoring. The use of Mini Luer interfaces makes integration with laboratory equipment easy.
Researchers can observe eggs at precise positions along the channel. The robust catcher design ensures minimal movement during the experiment. It is based on peer-reviewed research and offers reproducible results for experimental work involving zebrafish embryos.
This product is ideal for controlled zebrafish embryo research and related applications where individual egg monitoring, perfusion, and developmental analysis are required.
