Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The basic sensor platform II is one of our sensor integration chips. It helps evaluating combinations of microfluidics and sensors (e. g. silicon photonic or electrochemical sensors). All our sensor chips have an area for sensor integration, either as chamber or open area. In both cases the sensor of choice can be mounted via a double-sided adhesive tape gasket. This gasket is 140 µm high and an integral part of the fluidic system, shaping the sensor integration area. Each chip has fitting gaskets that need to be ordered in addition to the chip. A customization of gaskets is possible. This chip is combined with a double-sided adhesive tape in the shape of a rhombic chamber (Fluidic 1006) or straight channel (Fluidic 1051). In comparison to Fluidic 864 (Basic sensor platform), Fluidic 1005 has two additional inlets and outlets, each. Watch this video for more information on assembling your sensor integration chip.
This sensor integration chip provides a reliable platform for testing microfluidic-sensor combinations. Its design accommodates both open area and chamber configurations for sensor mounting. The device ensures stability and reproducibility across experiments by using precision gaskets and quality transparent polymers. With extra inlets and outlets, the Fluidic 1005 offers researchers flexibility for multi-channel applications, while maintaining easy handling and assembly.
The Fluidic 1005 is compatible with both Zeonor and Topas materials, each paired with suitable chip lids and bodies for different thermal and optical requirements. All versions are untreated for maximum compatibility with user-specific surface modifications and assays.
This chip is ideal for research and prototyping in bioanalytics, diagnostics, or chemical sensing. It supports integration with multiple detection types for versatile laboratory workflows.
