Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

This sensor integration chip features a large sensor integration area. It helps evaluating combinations of microfluidics and sensors (e. g. silicon photonic or electrochemical sensors). All our sensor chips have an area for sensor integration, the sensor of choice can be mounted via a double-sided adhesive tape gasket. This gasket is 140 µm high and an integral part of the fluidic system, shaping the sensor integration area. Each chip has fitting gaskets that need to be ordered in addition to the chip. A customization of gaskets is possible. This chip is combined with a double-sided adhesive tape in the shape of a straight channel (Fluidic 1056). Fluidic 1004 and Fluidic 1012 differ in the position of the channels within the sensor integration area. Watch this video for more information on assembling your sensor integration chip.
This Sensor Integration Chip offers a simple and robust solution for combining sensors and microfluidics. You can quickly mount a range of sensors using the included gasket system. The design allows for flexible positioning of channels in the integration area, making it suitable for a broad range of applications. Researchers benefit from transparent materials and the possibility to customize gaskets to match unique experiment needs.
The chip comes in different material options (Zeonor, PS, Topas) to meet compatibility demands in various lab environments. The valve feature adds another layer of function for more complex setups. With mini Luer interfaces, connecting fluidic lines is fast and secure, which makes experiment setup efficient and reliable.
This chip is made for all setups that combine microfluidics with sensor integration. It is ideal for experimenting with silicon photonic sensors or electrochemical sensors in a microfluidic format. Primary use cases include:
