General

Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.

Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.

Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

This Flangeless ferrule is a component designed to create a secure, leak-free seal between a rigid tubing and a mating port. Made from Perfluoroalkoxy Alkanes (PFA), these ferrules are ideal for high-purity, chemically aggressive applications and are meant to be used with PTFE nuts. They are sold in a 10-pack for convenience.

General

A flangeless ferrule is a critical component for creating a secure connection in microfluidic systems without the need for tubing flanging. As a fluidic nut is tightened, the ferrule compresses around the tubing, forming a tight seal that prevents fluid leakage. The choice between U-Shaped and T-Shaped ferrules depends on the specific nut design to ensure a perfect fit and reliable performance.
