Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

Use Microvascular Networks to replicate in vivo cell/particle adhesion and cell-cell or cell-particle interactions in an in vitro setting. Investigate the effects of flow and morphology for drug delivery, drug discovery, and cellular behavior. Obtain shear-adhesion maps and bifurcation vs. branch adhesion in a single experiment.
SMN1 chips are based on actual images of microvascular networks and enable physiological modeling of cellular interactions within cell types as well as with particles or drugs. These chips are valuable tools for studying cellular behavior in complex microvascular environments, including applications in disease modeling and drug testing, where cell adhesion and migration can be investigated under physiologically relevant conditions.
SMN1 chips are designed for monoculture studies, the network variations are present in the specifications tab.
