Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The IMN2 Radial organ-on-chip design is made of a central chamber (tissue chamber) and two outer channels. This side-by-side architecture enables the co-culture of different cell types with real-time visualization. These platforms allow the modeling of physiological shear stress and in vivo-like morphology of tissues.
The separation between the central and outer channels can be done with either slits or pillars and are available in several dimensions. In both cases, slits/pillars are spaced at regular intervals to create a barrier between the inner and outer chambers.

These designs can be used in a wide range of applications: modeling of tumors (SynTumor), studies on inflammation processes (SynRAM), toxicology studies (SynTox), or modeling of the blood-brain barrier (SynBBB). For the latter one, a version including TEER measurement is also available to measure electrical resistance for non-invasive barrier assessment. You can refer to the specific product pages of those applications for more information and protocols.

The chips have the format of a microscopic slide and are made of PDMS bonded to glass.
