Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

Droplet generator Fluidic 163 is the larger sibling of Fluidic 162 and features a similar design with larger channel dimensions. With a nozzle size of 140 μm droplet sizes between 190 μm (~3.25 nl) and 420 μm diameter can be realized. Fluidic 163 gives the possibility to be utilized from two sides, as it features droplet generation crossings at either side of the collection channel. Both sides are similar in channel design with a slight difference in distance of the double cross intersections. The Fluidic 163 droplet generator is a versatile device suited for controlled droplet production through a double cross geometry. The two droplet generation crossings let users operate from either side of the chip, enabling parallel or independent droplet streams. Its design supports both research and lab automation where reproducible and scalable droplets are needed.
With options for PC and Topas substrates and different surface treatments, the Fluidic 163 adapts to diverse application needs. The use of standard mini Luer interfaces makes connectivity to pumps or tubing easy in any standard laboratory setup.
This device is ideal for precise generation of micron-scale droplets for controlled experiments in microfluidics and other fields.
