Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

This droplet generator chip with three identical droplet generation units of double cross geometry was specifically developed for use in single cell sequencing experiments, where single cells (W) and beads/lysis buffer (W) need to be introduced into a single droplet in an oil phase (O). Fluidic 1032 features Mini Luer interfaces and its use requires a microfluidic pump setup with the ability to control three individual flows. It is, however, also possible to use this droplet generator to generate W/O droplets by simply closing one inlet and supplying only two inlets with a liquid stream. This chip is tailored for the generation of encapsulated droplets for biological and chemical workflows. It especially targets single-cell sequencing, where the efficient co-encapsulation of cells and reagents is crucial. The three droplet generator units can operate in parallel, maximizing throughput in your experiments. The flexible design and interface support integration with most microfluidic setups.By configuring the chip’s inlet channels and choosing either PC or Topas material, as well as surface treatment, users can align the droplet generator with the specific requirements of their protocol. The robust design provides stable and repeatable droplet formation for high-quality data collection.
