Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

In contrast to most micromixers which rely on passive mixing principles, the stir bar mixer Fluidic 268 is an active micromixer making use of a magnetic actuator. Just as their larger siblings in the normal laboratory environment, the chip can be placed on a magnetic stirrer that creates a rotating magnetic field and therefore causes the little bars to rotate quickly.
The Stir bar mixer - Active micromixing Fluidic 286 makes use of a magnetic actuator to provide efficient and reproducible micromixing at the microscale. The chip can be placed onto standard laboratory magnetic stirrers, translating established lab mixing workflows to the chip format with minimal adaptation. This active mixing approach improves reaction kinetics, mixing uniformity, and convenience compared to passive micromixer chips.
It is available with either Zeonor or PMMA chip materials and in both hydrophilized and untreated surface options, supporting a wide range of microfluidics applications, including analytic chemistry, process optimization, and life science workflows. The device features a transparent design for easy visualization and quick integration with existing microfluidic setups via Mini Luer interfaces.
