Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

This reaction chamber chip with an arrangement of eight chambers having the same dimensions besides the cavity depth and therefore different volumes allow for the direct comparison of the chamber depth influence on the assay readout. This chip assists in the choice of the right chamber dimensions in the design process of integrated microfluidic devices. The chambers of Fluidic 1100 are particularly shallow and vary from 50 µm to 150 µl chamber height. This chip is very similar in design to Fluidic 1100 but features additional pillars within the chambers.
This reaction chamber chip provides a practical solution for direct assessment of how chamber depth and volume affect assay output. With arrangements of eight same-shape chambers that only differ in depth, users can make controlled comparisons within a single chip. This helps in design decisions during the creation of new microfluidic devices.
The product shares design features with the Fluidic 1100 chip but includes added pillars, providing even more platforms for reaction or mixing optimization. The chip can be ordered with different materials and surface treatments, extending compatibility for varied research needs including PCR and optical tests.
This product is most suitable for laboratory use where chamber volume and fluid dynamics are explored, particularly in the development and optimization of microfluidic devices.
