Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

Multinozzle droplet generator Fluidic 1582 comes with 26 parallel nozzles in flow-focusing mode. Each nozzle is 20 µm wide. The clever channel geometry ensures generation of uniform droplets from all nozzles in parallel. While the geometry is complex, the interfacing isn't. The chip features two clearly labeled Mini Luer inlets and one Mini Luer outlet. To use the chip, a two-channel microfluidic pump is required. To learn more about droplet generation check the droplet generation booklet in the attachments or watch the video below.
This device is designed for labs where consistent and high-throughput droplet production is needed. The 26 parallel nozzles allow users to conduct simultaneous experiments or scale up droplet applications efficiently. The chip’s inlets and outlet are standardized, so connecting pumps or other fluidics is simple and mistake-free.
The Multinozzle Droplet Generator is robust and gives reliable performance for a range of experiments in biology, chemistry, or materials research. The choice of PC or Topas as a base material means users can select according to their experimental needs, without sacrificing clarity or ease of use.
This device is best for use in microfluidic droplet generation for research and testing environments.
