General
Use this damper to smooth out flow rate oscillations generated by peristaltic pumps and other flow control systems. This device effectively suppresses pulsations and improves flow rate accuracy. Its pulsation suppression rate can reach more than 95%.
Compatible with different soft-walled tubing sizes from 0.8 to 9.6 mm ID, this industrial-type damper resists harsh chemicals and higher temperatures. The base of the damper is either made of PPS or PTFE, while the cover can be manufactured in PPS or PC. Just select your combination!
Simply connect the output side of your peristaltic pump to the damper and obtain a smooth flow rate from its output. Follow the instructions below for reliable efficiency.
- The tubing diameter of the output end should be smaller than that of the input end.
- The length of the output tubing shall be more than 30 cm.
- The fluid level at the outlet port shall be higher than that of the damper itself.
