Whereas standard ChipShop connectors only accept soft-walled tubing, this set of connectors allows connecting any 1/16" OD rigid tubing to a ChipShop chip.
Suitable for rigid tubing (PTFE, PEEK, etc.) with an OD of 1/16" (1.6 mm). Manufactured in blue TPE, max. pressure of 3.2 bar with a 1/16" OD PEEK tubing.
Plugs to block unused ports are also available in our shop.

The droplet generator chip Fluidic 1720 features eight flow focusing droplet generator units to evaluate the formation of various droplet sizes. Being the largest sibling of Fluidic 947 and Fluidic 440, the Fluidic 1720 is also perfectly suited to evaluate droplet generation with a single cross, flow focusing geometry. The nozzle sizes, however, range from 150 μm to 300 μm on this chip. It is therefore the perfect tool to generate comparably large droplets. With its two Mini Luer inlet and one Mini Luer outlet ports per droplet generation unit, the chip requires a two-channel microfluidic pump, just as Fluidic 912 and Fluidic 947. The Fluidic 1720 droplet generator is for scientists and engineers who need to study and optimize droplet formation. With its eight independent generators, you can perform parallel experiments without cross-checking different chips. Selectable nozzles allow you to study how size affects your process outcomes.
